The conference “Mathematical Modeling and Differential Equations” is a specialized mathematical conference in Belarus. It is regularly held under the auspices of the Institute of Mathematics (National Academy of Science of Belarus). Participation in such an authoritative scientific forum is an integral part of a fruitful scientific activity for all generations of specialists in various fields of differential equations and their applications.
The previous III international scientific conference was held at the Brest State A.S. Pushkin University. It was attended by about 200 mathematicians from Belarus, Russia, Ukraine, Poland, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and the USA. It became a significant event in the mathematical life of the Republic of Belarus.
The following IV conference “Mathematical Modeling and Differential Equations” is scheduled to be held at Yanka Kupala State University of Grodno. The announced conference is dedicated to the memory of an outstanding mathematician, Corresponding Member of the Academy of Sciences of the BSSR Yevgeny Ivanov – the founder of the Belarusian scientific school on the theory of electromagnetic wave diffraction and the first Dean of the faculty of applied mathematics of the BSU. The works of E. A. Ivanov and his students in this field are known all over the world.
The most important tasks of this event are the exchange of information on the latest achievements in the field of mathematical modeling and differential equations and activation of the involvement of higher education institutions in the research process in the field of theoretical and applied mathematics. The event will help to strengthen interdisciplinary connections and improve the scientific level of applied research.
The conference will enable the expansion and strengthen the international relations and scientific contacts of Belarusian mathematicians. It will also serve to promote the achievements of Belarusian science both within the country and abroad.
